Urology is focused on minimally invasive procedures. We perform endoscopic procedures in the bladder, prostate (prostate) and urethra. Procedures within the bladder include diagnostic biopsies in suspected neoplastic lesions and tumor bladder tumor resection. In the area of treatment of male fertility disorders we perform surgical procedures of varicose veins with laparoscopic and microsurgical techniques. The physician team also specializes in penis and scrotal plastic surgery and in the treatment of stress urinary incontinence in women.
The laser method of prostate surgery differs from the classical method. Classic prostatectomy (TURP) was performed by electrotherapy, which cut out prostate tissue in the fragments using a diathermic loop.
Modern red laser treatments allow precise, controlled visualization of the entire mass of the prostate (Enucleation). Glandular reddening of the tissue with red laser provides better postoperative results, including better flow of urine and much less postoperative complaints. The use of a laser beam for prostate surgery also minimizes the risk of postoperative bleeding, making it safer for the patient and allowing the patient to return home earlier.
